about

Intruder EP tells the story of Elek, the most driven man you've ever met. Elek is the quintessential watcher of the skies. He holds a very strong belief that extraterrestrial beings have been visiting us for many years, and relishes the opportunity to reveal them to the world. A world, he believes, that has been hypnotized by popular culture. Elek finds no value in these distractions, and feels as if the rest of society has shunned him for this. In spite of this, Elek continues proudly donning his tinfoil crown. His small one bedroom apartment is his kingdom, equipped with an arsenal of security cameras constantly surveying the heavens above him. The hours begin to pile up as he sits at the window staring into the skies. He is beginning to feel a bit drowsy, but his will cannot be broken. Suddenly the monitor of his “skycam” flashes. This is the moment Elek has been waiting for. He rushes across his apartment, stumbling over the empty bags of coffee grinds that have been sustaining him. Grabbing his camera and returning to the window, Elek begins to film the stars. The camera shakes. He is unable to keep it still because he's been awake for close to nine days now. Still, he films for hours staring into the night sky. Elek unexpectedly finds himself in his bed, and unable to account for the last four hours. He knows that he is close to obtaining the evidence that he has desired to find for so long. Elek tries to lift himself up from the bed, but realizes that he cannot move. He hears the floorboards in the hallway creaking. There's a knock at his bedroom door...
